What do you need to do to prep for your treatment?

What to avoid before getting filler:

Avoid blood thinning over-the-counter medications such as aspirin, Motrin, ibuprofen, and Aleve.
Avoid topical products such as Tretinoin (Retin-A), Retinol, Retinoids, Glycolic Acid, or any “anti-aging” products.
Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing, or using hair removal cream on the area to be treated.

What should I do on the day of my treatment?

Arrive at the office with a “clean face” (washed and without makeup).
In order to maximize your comfort during the procedure, a topical anesthetic may be applied.

What will I experience after the session is over?

As with most injectable treatments, you won’t experience much in the way of a recovery period. You’ll experience a minor amount of redness and some mild tenderness in the treatment area, which will only last for about one day. After this time, you’ll be feeling great and looking your best.
