What are Injectables?

Injectables, simply enough, describe a series of treatments that work exactly how it sounds like they work—the product is injected into the treatment area with the use of a very fine-gauge needle. In some cases, you will be able to see your results almost immediately, while certain injectable treatments may take a few days before you begin to notice your improvements. Will the treatment experience be painful?

We take every possible measure to make sure that your experience is a comfortable one. When administering neuromodulators (like BOTOX or Dysport), we use a very fine gauge needle that keeps the process very tolerable. For dermal fillers (like Juvéderm or the RHA Collection), we’ll help you stay comfortable with a topical numbing cream or the use of vibratory anesthesia.

When will I see my results?

With neuromodulators (also referred to as wrinkle relaxers), most patients start noticing their results after about two weeks. Dermal fillers, on the other hand, create effects that can be noticed instantly, with final results taking about two weeks to settle in.

How long will my results last?

Each injectable treatment is different: Juvéderm creates results that often last for six to 12 months, while longer-lasting dermal fillers (like the RHA collection) create improvements that you’ll enjoy for between 15 and 19 months. Wrinkle relaxers typically create results that last for approximately three months before we recommend visiting our clinic for a maintenance appointment.
