What is RF Microneedling? The RF Microneedling works by using thin, microneedles that deliver RF energy into the skin. This delivery of heat helps stimulate collagen and elastin fiber growth which tightens, tones, and improves upon the texture of the skin. 

What areas are we treating with RF Microneedling? Face, neck, double chin, decollete, arms, butt, abs, knees, scalp, hands and bra fat.

What does it feel like? To minimize any discomfort we offer the option of numbing cream. Most patients report minimal discomfort. The microneedles are extremely thin and work with gentle pressure for maximum comfort. 

 

How long does a treatment take? 30 mins – 60 mins depending on area.

What is the downtime? Mild redness for 24 hours after treatment

What does pre and post-treatment look like? RF Microneedling treatment doesn’t need any special preparation or follow-up regimen. Most patients will return to their regular activities immediately following treatment. If you have Rosacea you could experience temporary redness or minor swelling after treatment. But this usually goes away within 24 to 72 hours. 

Who are candidates for Scarlet? The RF Microneedling is for someone who is not interested in going under for surgery to tighten up the skin and improve sagging skin.

Can you get any other treatments on the same day? Wait two weeks for filler or botox.

Are there any side effects? Dry, rough and peeling skin, possible itchiness in the area treated, Mild erythema and edema for 48 hours.
